Washing: Our knives are designed to be very easy to maintain. Just wash and dry them with a soft sponge or a cloth after each use, and you'll never have a problem.

NorthernKnives and some accessories are produced in limited editions of around 500 pieces. When these are sold out, there are two possibilities: 

1) The product is permanently sold out because it was a limited edition;

2) Our blacksmiths are forging new editions, and your product will be on sale again in a few weeks (always according to the rate of production and demand).

*Note: We advise you not to wait until a product is nearly sold out to buy it. Our products can take several weeks to produce, and some will never be forged again to maintain the prestige of our limited collections. Over time, even the toughest knives, like those from NorthernKnife, lose their sharpness. To maintain their original glory, it’s imperative to sharpen them regularly with suitable materials so they don’t become dull.

Ceramic knives, when dulled, are only good for the trash. However, knives with steel blades can be sharpened whenever the need arises, which means you can keep your knives sharp for years to come.

We designed our sharpener to be easy to use. As a result, even the most novice user will be able to sharpen their knives in seconds.

All you have to do is make a few back-and-forth movements with the blade of your knife in the first slit, then the second, and finish with the third slit to obtain a perfectly sharp knife.

There’s no need to spend hours maintaining your knives. You only need to make between five and ten passes on each side of the blade to restore them to their original glory.

Shipping and Delivery:

Once an order is placed, our team will carefully collect your knifes from our forged, so please allow up to 72 hours for our team to pick and pack your order. All orders are sent when all items are ready in full.

Your Northern's Knives will then gently be sent via USPS and then it should be safely in your patiently waiting hands within **5-10 business days. (shipping times can vary depending of potencial product safety check, weather, big demands).

Yay, time to celebrate – it’s on its way! After we pass your order to American Post, we will send you a shipping confirmation email which will have a ‘Track Order’ button.

Haven’t received your shipping confirmation email yet? Double check your spams/promotions they sometimes get lost!

Although we try our very best, sometimes mistakes happen. Should your package have a delivery issue with American Post (such as being lost or missing from delivery), we can lodge an enquiry to follow up on your package and find out what’s happened.

If your item has been confirmed as lost or stolen, we will send out a replacement straightaway. When this is the case, your tracking number may update to advise of a ‘delayed’ delivery date.

If your item still hasn’t been delivered within 20 business days, please contact us and we can launch an investigation with American Post. Please be assured, we will always do our best to get the issue sorted as quickly as possible for you.

*Please note: We can only send your order to the address you provide on your order - if you have provided an incorrect address, and the package is delivered there, we are unable to retrieve it so please check your address carefully! If your order has already been shipped, we can’t do anything to change your address and either doing a refund/replacement of your knifes.


Our return policy is valid for 30 days. After 30 days from the date of purchase, we regret that we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To qualify for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition as when you received it, and in its original packaging without any damage.

Please contact us before returning any item and send a photo of the items you wish to return for documentation purposes.

A receipt or proof of purchase is required to process your return.

To be eligible for a return:

1. Item(s) have to be initiated for return and placed in the post within 30 days of the purchase.

2. Item(s) were not marked “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” at the time of purchase, unless faulty.

3. Item(s) must be in the original packaging, which must be in original condition.

We are working hard behind the scenes to get the NorthernKnife in and out of our fulfilment centers. We strongly encourage that you send through a photo of your receipt from the post office as proof your return has been lodged.

As soon as we have this information, we can action either your exchange or refund immediately! If you forget to grab this receipt, we will just need to wait until that one gets back to our warehouse before we can go ahead.

We’re sad to see you go! Should you receive a refund for your order, you will receive an email confirming this has been processed from our end. From there, it will take 2-5 business days to process into your account, depending on your bank.
